Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Morgan Stanley Investment Management Emerging Markets Debt team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities and requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and communication skills. The Administrative Assistant will manage calendars, coordinate travel and other logistics, organize meetings, maintain the physical office space, process expenses, and handle various, additional administrative tasks. This position demands professionalism, discretion, and the ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders. This is an in-office role, requiring presence 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calendar & Scheduling Management: Assist in managing team calendars, schedule meetings, book conference rooms, and coordinate with internal and external participants. Ensure all arrangements are in place, including technology and catering needs.
- Travel Coordination: Arrange domestic and international travel, including flight bookings, accommodations, and transportation. Prepare detailed itineraries and manage travel-related logistics.
- Expense Management: Prepare and submit expense reports, track expenses, and ensure timely processing of vendor payments.
- Communication Support: Handle incoming calls and emails, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately. Maintain a professional demeanor in all communications.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality in all matters.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage office supplies, coordinate equipment needs, prepare meeting materials, and ensure a well-organized work environment.
- Event Coordination: Assist in organizing team events and special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be a plus.
- Experience: 2-4 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with corporate expense and travel tools is advantageous.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $75,000 and $95,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term
incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
