Job Duties and Qualifications
Under general direction, this role applies release management methodologies to the management of source code, building the source code and then packaging the build artifacts into installers for delivery to the customer for Halliburton's Landmark Software & Services group. Assists with deploying and maintaining secure applications. Ensures applications have undergone adequate security testing. This role usually involves projects of moderate scope and complexity and requires a high level of interaction with members of the product delivery teams (i.e. developers, QA, documentation etc.). Requires an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years of Release Management or software development experience.

Our product and cloud engineering teams have been working to deliver these products to the AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
Roles and Responsibilities:
You will develop deployment infrastructure that will allow our products to be consumed by our customers across the globe over AWS and Azure cloud platforms. This infrastructure includes deployment pipelines, orchestration software, monitoring and alerting systems. You will participate in planning and execution of technology projects and operational excellence initiatives. To accomplish this, you will work under the leadership of senior engineers who will guide and mold you into high performing devops engineers. You should be somebody who enjoys working on complex software, is customer-centric, and feels strongly about building good software as well as making that software achieve its operational goals.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar
• Streamline workflows and automate repetitive tasks
• Troubleshoot and address infrastructure issues as necessary
• Ensure security and compliance of infrastructure by implementing best practices and tools
• Investigate new technologies and methodologies to better support products
• Maintain documentation of infrastructure and suggest areas for improvement
