Job DescriptionYour Role:
The Senior Manager FDAC will lead the team responsible for the Finance Data and Cloud Applications. This role will be responsible for providing Oracle application subject matter expertise, managing Oracle enhancements, supporting period end processes, Finance data management and supporting Finance roadmap projects. The ideal candidate will have Finance process and data expertise in delivering function specific projects and enhancements and have the ability to drive effective interaction between Finance and IT functions.
Your Responsibilities:
Act as a trusted advisor to business partners, delivering the roadmap for the Finance technology and data products managed.
Lead a matrix agile team to deliver the product roadmap, support Product Owner in defining the backlog and setting prioritization of delivery.
Understand Finance and IT strategies, objectives and concepts and translate between the two
Manage all workstreams and act as a lead in one or more work streams supporting BAU system support activities, system enhancements and project delivery.
Support Finance Product Owners in setting priorities for application enhancements, incident management, gathering and communication of business requirements to Technology, support development of testing strategies, and approving solutions for deployment.
Support data initiatives, apply data governance standards and support data validation within Finance and liaise within Invesco to resolve upstream data issues.
Oversee configuration and testing of Finance applications as part of upgrades, implementations or system enhancements to validate alignment with designed roles, SOD, controls and business processes
Partner with Business and Technology teams to advocate for Finance strategies and initiatives.
Work with end to end leads to ensure strong communication, support, and change management is in place for newly implemented product capabilities
Proactively drives continuous improvement and can identify, recommend, and execute process and policy changes
Actively identify and solution for risk, impediments, and constraints on deliverables, identify dependencies and coordinate with dependent teams
Ensure ongoing and consistent communications on business initiatives to drive productive and collaborative organizational relationships
Support period end processes within Finance applications
Manage escalated production issues that require product management ownership
Manage performance and development cycle for direct reporting team members including but not limited to setting goals, completing performance evaluations and development reviews.
Coordinates and manages workload across team resources ensure deadlines and project goals are met.
Interviews, hires, orients, trains, mentors, coaches, motivates, evaluates, disciplines and when necessary, discharges subordinate personnel.
Identify training/development needs of team and ensure ongoing learning is occurring and goals are being met
Has responsibility for work product of matrixed offshore team in Hyderabad
The Experience You Bring:
A minimum of 10 years working in a finance operational role with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
A bachelor’s degree is required in any of following Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, MIS or other Business or Technical degree. CPA preferred.
Expertise in Finance technology products and Finance data (Oracle Cloud ERP, Oracle EPBCS, Oracle FCCS, Oracle PCMCS, Oracle ARCS, Oracle TRCS, FDI/OAC, Concur, OneSource, Revport Alteryx, BI Publisher, etc)
Experience at a public reporting company or a company with a global footprint.
Experience working with offshore teams highly preferred.
Product management including managing delivery of enhancements and projects from start to finish
Expertise in defining, communicating, and driving value propositions, success metrics, and outcomes
Expertise in shaping, aligning, and guiding execution of delivery of capabilities across a portfolio of products
Expertise in communicating, building influence, and developing relationships with business and technology leaders.
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience leading cross-org discussions and working with a matrixed team of stakeholders
Must have knowledge of SOX requirements and accounting operations
Experience working in a shared service center supporting global operations is highly preferred
