08The Team:
- The Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Team is responsible for evaluating and performing an end-to-end analysis of the risk and control environment to identify significant gaps and weaknesses in partnership with stakeholders, including process owners and control officers.
- We facilitate testing of design and operating effectiveness of the documented controls for all NRS business units.
The Impact:
- Through reviews, drive awareness on identifying risks and controls within the business units
- Reduce residual risk through testing the effectiveness of controls in place and advising on additional adequate controls that may prevent or detect future issues

Responsibilities:
- Document process activities and associated risks and controls, including process descriptions, process prioritization, and top-down risk profiles
- Support and document the determination of inherent risk ratings, control ratings, and residual risk ratings
- Provide project management support in tracking and coordinating the execution of risk and control self-assessment (RCSA) activities
- Develop status reporting and communications of assessment activities for processes
- Provide ongoing communication to internal stakeholders throughout the assessment process to keep them apprised of progress and findings, escalating when appropriate
- Support iterative review and challenge of assessment results, working with appropriate stakeholders across the lines of defense
What We’re Looking For:
- Flexibility to work across US shifts. The preferred candidate will be expected to work a US shift for approximately two weeks during training and then change to a shift that covers US, EMEA, and India time zones that is agreed upon in advance
- At least one year of experience in risk and control management
- One to three years of experience in an audit, accounting, risk management role in operations or information technology/information security, and/or operational risk management, or a combination thereof
- Experience with process documentation, risk assessments, and evaluation of control design and operating effectiveness
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Experience with problem solving in a team environment by thinking outside of the box and providing innovative solutions, with and without technology
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis on identified issues
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines against a high-volume work schedule
- Must be detail oriented, well organized, and a self-starter
