Yelp engineering culture is driven by our values: we’re a cooperative team that values individual authenticity and encourages creative solutions to problems. All new engineers deploy working code their first week, and we strive to broaden individual impact with support from managers, mentors, and teams. At the end of the day, we’re all about helping our users, growing as engineers, and having fun in a collaborative environment.
Are you passionate about leading large-scale initiatives across an entire engineering organization? As an Engineering Manager on Yelp’s Attribution team, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the company, including product, data engineering, ads, customer success, sales, and many more. You’ll lead and grow a team of talented engineers while sharing your passion for complex backend challenges.
The Attribution team owns the services that make it possible to deliver data in the form of reports for advertisers on Yelp. These reports offer valuable insights into how advertising spend drives key business conversions—such as transactions, store visits, and other measurable actions—helping businesses maximize the value of their partnership with Yelp.
Engineers on this team work on backend applications that enable privacy-safe measurement of ad performance and process large volumes of advertiser data to demonstrate the value of Yelp’s advertising across multiple business locations. Their work has a direct impact on Yelp’s business and revenue.
This opportunity requires you to be located in the Eastern time zone of Canada. We’d love to have you apply, even if you don’t feel you meet every single requirement in this posting. At Yelp, we’re looking for great people, not just those who simply check off all the boxes.
