Key Responsibilities Microsoft Licensing & Commercial Management
- Demonstrate strong understanding of Microsoft licensing programs including CSP, EA, MPSA, SPLA, and Open Value.
- Optimize customer licensing through cost analysis, benchmarking, and spend optimization.
- Advise customers on maximizing ROI, compliance, and value through the right licensing models.
- Support sales teams in positioning the organization’s value proposition to win large & complex licensing deals.
- Deliver software advisory and license optimization projects.
- Conduct licensing workshops and training sessions for customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Provide licensing helpdesk support, addressing complex queries from enterprise customers.
- Ensure 100% compliance of OEM trainings and certifications across teams.
- Manage vendor rebate structures, including tracking, processing, and profitability analysis.
- Administer vendor portals (PSX, Microsoft Partner Center) for updates, data validation, and user management.
- Organize vendor-funded campaigns and events (PowerDays, webinars, roundtables).
- Enable internal teams with ongoing Licensing & Program knowledge sessions.
- Lead and manage Microsoft incentive and enablement programs from initiation to closure.
- Conduct detailed program briefings and training for sales and presales teams.
- Manage customer nominations, eligibility checks, and POE submissions on Microsoft portals.
- Support Account Managers in identifying renewals, opportunities, and incremental revenue streams.
- Coordinate with internal delivery teams to ensure timely completion of program deliverables.
- Maintain an active customer pipeline and track conversion from engagement to license purchase.
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and program trackers for business reviews with Microsoft and leadership.
