The Wealth Management Platforms organization manages digital platforms and experiences across the Advisor, Workplace and Direct channels, ensuring that our capabilities lead the industry and are delivered and integrated seamlessly.

Position Summary

As an Executive Director in wealth management platforms, the candidate plays a pivotal role in overseeing the development and execution of strategic initiatives that enhance platform capabilities and client experiences. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of innovative solutions tailored to meet the esteemed clients and drive business growth.
The Wealth Management Platforms Head of DCEP PO team will serve as an escalation point to both the team and US-based Platforms partners, manage changing priorities, fluidity, knowledge transfer and be responsible for creating a culture of excellence and growth. With a span of control of 30+ FTEs, the role encompasses Strategy & Planning, Execution & Coordination, Stakeholder communication, Sign-offs & Risk Management. The role reports into Head of WM Platforms, India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and articulate a clear vision and strategy for digital client experience platforms that align with the broader goals of self-directed services. Ensure the product roadmap enhances the digital client journey and supports business objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead and nurture a team of product owners focused on digital platforms. Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to stay ahead of digital trends and client expectations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact between the product team and key stakeholders, including technology, marketing, and customer service departments. Ensure stakeholder feedback is integrated into the product development process to enhance client experiences.
  • Product Development Oversight: Oversee the development lifecycle of digital platforms, ensuring timely delivery of features that enhance the self-directed client experience. Maintain high standards of quality and usability.
  • Prioritization and Backlog Management: Guide the team in prioritizing features that enhance digital client interactions. Manage the product backlog to ensure the most impactful features are developed and released first.
  • Market Analysis and Research: Continuously monitor digital trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback to inform product decisions. Leverage insights to maintain a competitive edge in digital client experiences.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to digital client engagement and satisfaction. Use data-driven insights to optimize platform offerings and report on performance to stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with digital platform development, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. Implement strategies to safeguard client data and platform integrity.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the budget for digital platform development, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet strategic goals and enhance client experiences.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging exploration of new technologies and methodologies to improve digital client experiences. Continuously seek feedback and implement improvements.

Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, technology or related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience required
  • Minimum 17+ years of relevant Product Owner experience with 7+ years of people management experience, including senior team members, officers. Minimum 10+ years' experience in financial services / program management
  • Partnering with various internal groups and stakeholders across different regions


Skills Required

  • Strong experience of Business processes. Experience with Agile methodologies, delivery practices and reporting.
  • Past hands-on experience in Portfolio Analytics is encouraged.
  • Deeper understanding of domain - Client onboarding, Planning, Advice, Lending, Financials is preferred.
  • Exceptional Stakeholder management skills, able to build report and trust globally
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Exceptional people manager, culture-setter, proven team skills - building and scaling big teams
  • Accountability : Possessing strong sense of accountability and relationship building
  • Problem Solving: Self-starter with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with distinctive thought leadership and ability to handle several tasks concurrently under tight deadlines
  • Superior active listening, research/investigative, communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills; being able to tailor such skills for different audiences
  • Ability to think laterally and convey big-picture understanding; identify risks, (quality) issues, trends, and remediations, including when working with technology and business stakeholders
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience in GenAI is a plus
