Job Summary:

Supports Communications operations initiatives across the function, manages projects and ongoing operations stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Leads and maintains project, account, and vendor management. Solves non-routine cross-functional problems. Contributes to strategy and planning. Maintains and develops relationships with stakeholders/leaders/vendors. Contributes to strategic communications planning (marketing promotional plan/communications plan). Identifies and contributes to process improvement and functional excellence. Learns, adheres to, represents, and champions Cummins brand. Manages, supports, and maintains budget/financials. Leads functional training, creates and delivers presentations. Compiles, analyzes, and utilizes metrics, data, and analytics. Understands digital tools, trends, and channels.

Creative Communication Design - Presents information from a variety of sources in a compelling message through storytelling to engage target audiences; applies the appropriate tools and media types to create effective, high-quality visual and experiential media.

Digital media savvy - Leverages current and emerging digital media strategies (e.g. email automation, social media, content management systems, etc.) to influence buyer behavior or target audiences to a desired action.

Balances stakeholders - Anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.

Customer focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

College, university, or equivalent degree in communications, marketing, or a related subject required.

Experience:

Digital experience preferred (emerging trends, digital for business, metrics, paid vs. organic, advertising content) .

Graphic design skills, visual communications channel capabilities preferred.

Experience working with a global organization preferred.

Client/account/project management preferred.

System integration preferred.

6 Sigma, Value Stream Transformation, continuous improvement experience preferred.

B2B/B2C experience preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

Lead the development and execution of strategic corporate communications that position Cummins India as a leading power solutions company and an employer of choice, while serving as a communications partner to corporate functions and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the annual corporate communications strategy and plan for Cummins India.

Align regional communications with global Strategy and India priorites, ensuring consistency and impact across all channels.

Drive project management of key communication initiatives from concept to delivery, with measurable outcomes.

Lead the creation of high-quality corporate content including but limited to annual reports, corporate assets and campaings, executive and leadership messaging.

Develop compelling narratives for corporate campaigns that strengthen Cummins’ brand positioning in India.

Ensure content reflects Cummins’ values, business priorities, and sustainability commitments.

Strengthen internal communication programs to cascade strategy, values, and priorities across the employee base inlcuding high impact global leader visits

Partner with leadership to deliver impactful communication that builds trust and engagement inlcuding leading internal and external corproate events, initatvies and programs

Drive external communications to enhance Cummins’ reputation across key stakeholders

Design and deliver employer branding initiatives and programs to create Cummins as employer of choice

Showcase Cummins India’s achievements through storytelling across traditional, digital, and social media.

Act as a strong business partner to corporate functions, supporting their communication needs with tailored strategies.

Collaborate with HR, CSR, Finance, and Sustainability and other corproate functions and teams to deliver integrated communication programs.

Annual Planning and Budget management

Explore traditional and new media and formats to deliver brand narratives

Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.

Excellent communication skills across internal and external audiences.

Experience in employer branding, corporate campaigns, and leadership communication.

Ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage cross-functional partnerships.

Strong B2B corporate communciation backgroup with around 12- 15 years of industry experience in a global MNC enviornement
