The AWS Pre-Sales Consultant is a technical advisor responsible for driving AWS cloud adoption and business growth within the MEA market. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical AWS solutions, leading the technical discovery, design, and proposal phases of the sales cycle with a strong emphasis on financial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Opportunity Qualification: Assess and qualify new AWS leads to ensure technical, commercial, and financial viability.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with Technical Architects to design robust, cost-effective AWS solutions (Infrastructure, Data & AI, and App Modernization).
- FinOps & Cost Optimization: Lead discussions on cloud financial management; identify opportunities for cost savings through rightsizing, architectural improvements, and leveraging AWS pricing models.
- Sales Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end technical sales process, including RFPs, custom proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Deliver high-impact presentations and technical demos to C-level executives (CFO/CTO) emphasizing the economic value of cloud migration.
- Technical Advocacy: Conduct AWS Well-Architected Reviews with a focus on the Cost Optimization pillar to ensure long-term customer success.
- Commercial Modeling: Develop accurate service and cost models showing ROI, TCO, and business impact for local clients.
