Join Mitsubishi Power and PowerToFly on Wednesday, July 22, from 5:30–7:00 PM ET for an invite-only virtual career event for U.S. based engineering and project professionals.

You will have the opportunity to participate in focused breakout sessions covering Engineering and Project Management, hear directly from team members, explore current career opportunities, and engage in live moderated Q&A with our leaders, recruiters, and hiring teams.

Director of the Project Management Office at Mitsubishi Power
Chaya Springer is the Director of the Project Management Office at Mitsubishi Power, where she leads initiatives focused on operational excellence, project delivery, and continuous improvement across Service Operations. Starting as an intern 13 years ago, she now brings extensive experience in project management, process optimization, and organizational leadership. Outside of work, Chaya is an avid support of rescue animals - especially pitbulls - and enjoys spending time advocating and caring for rescue dogs. She is also a dedicated Formula 1 fan, drawn to the sport's precision, strategy, and high- performance culture.
Matt Ellithorpe
Matt Ellithorpe
Vice President of Service Engineering for Mitsubishi Power Americas

Matthew Ellithorpe is Vice President of Service Engineering for Mitsubishi Power Americas, leading more than 150 engineers and technical specialists supporting a fleet of over 140 advanced-class gas turbines and 400 steam turbines. He is responsible for the strategy and execution of Service Engineering, Monitoring & Diagnostics, and Controls Engineering, while driving initiatives in reliability improvement, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.

With more than 20 years of experience in the power generation industry, Matthew has held engineering and leadership roles spanning product design, fleet reliability, outage recovery, asset management, and technology development at OEMs, and utility generation organizations. His expertise includes gas and steam turbine technology, flexible operation solutions, hydrogen and fuel-flexibility upgrades, remote monitoring, and major equipment repair and modernization projects.

Matthew holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Union College in Schenectady, NY.

Michael Glover
Senior Vice President of New Generation Systems of Mitsubishi Power Americas

Michael Glover is the Senior Vice President of New Generation Systems (NGS) business unit of Mitsubishi Power Americas. Position scope includes all Engineering, Project Management, Project Execution, Product Line Management, and Hydrogen Production representing over 700 team members focused on GTCC applications and opportunities.

Prior to his current role, Michael led the Power Generation Service (PGS) Engineering department with responsibility for total plant support to include new product development, root cause & corrective action, monitoring and diagnostics for preventative action, service & outage support, performance for upgrade analysis, design and applications, master data management and any other internal or external customer requests.
