Meet The Speakers

Keri McKiernan

Head of Commercial Technology, Digital Technology Services

Keri McKiernan is the Head of Commercial Technology and Digital Technology Services at S&P Global. She has over 15 years of experience in Cloud Applications and CRM, leading large functional teams and delivering complex high-value projects in the business applications and Financial Services space.

Keri joined S&P through the SNL Financial Acquisition and has spent time at S&P in both Market Intelligence, DTI (Data, Technology & Innovation) and now DTS (Digital Technology Services). Prior to S&P, she has also worked in financial data services her entire career including time at Kagan Research, Jupiter Kagan (Subsidiary of Jupiter Media), SNL Kagan and SNL Financial.

Nkem Omokpo

Senior Director, Quality Engineering, S&P Dow Jones Indices

Nkem Omokpo is the Senior Director of Quality Engineering for the S&P Dow Jones Indices. She has 20 years of experience in the Financial Technology industry and is highly skilled at agile methodology, test automation, quality assurance and test management. Nkem joined the company just this past September of 2020. Prior, Nkem was the Vice President Associate Director of Platform QA at FactSet and a Senior Market Data Analyst at Reuters.

Mary Thorn

Vice President, IT Strategy & Transformation, Market Intelligence

Mary Thorn joined S&P Global's Market Intelligence division in March of 2020 as the Vice President of IT Strategy & Transformation. Throughout her career, she has successfully scaled and transformed globally dispersed teams for several Fortune 500 companies. She also co-authored The Three Pillars of Agile Testing and Quality, is a keynote speaker, and runs her own Mary Thorn Consulting business—focusing on agile transformations and strategy, coaching, and training.

Sayantani Roy

Director, Architecture, Platts

Sayantani joined S&P Global in September of 2015 as a Senior Application Architect and grew into her current leadership role. She is now responsible for designing, architecting information technology projects, and designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications. Sayantani excels in engagements encompassing enterprise architecture, design and global delivery of large-scale business platforms utilizing Java-based technologies.

Emily Miller Smith

Lead II, Software Development/ Engineering, Ratings

Emily Miller Smith is a Lead II within Software Development and Engineering for S&P Global Ratings. She's been with the company for 4+ years. Prior, Emily worked as a Senior IT Developer at EverBank and a Solutions Consultant at Axis Group.
