As a RF Electronic Test Technician, you will perform a wide variety of technical efforts including processing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing RF equipment.
What You Will Do
- Performs tests and utilizes various engineering drawings, manuals and other related documentation in the performance of their tasks
- You may also work on Analog, Digital and High Voltage circuits as well.
- Observe, analyze and report test data-
- Read and interpret drawings to perform measurements and troubleshoot electronic equipment.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience using a wide variety of electronic RF/Analog, High Voltage, Digital and other electronic test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers and Power Meters.
- Electronic Testing and Troubleshooting down to the component level.
- Familiarity in these testing areas is recommended: Insertion Loss, VSWR, Phase, gain, amplifiers, crystal detector circuits for fault monitoring, Analog to digital conversion.
- Expertise in testing and repairing RF subassemblies of high-power Radar systems.
