Job Title: Technical Purchasing / Buyer
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:
· 1st Shift: 7 AM to 3:30PM, Monday – Saturday.
· Starting hourly pay of $25-$28. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or geographic location.
· Yearly reviews and raises.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:
· Requests quotes, places purchase orders for parts and supplies, and completes related paperwork.
· Generates a weekly status update for pending quotes and purchase orders.
· Sources parts, manufacturers, and distributors through available resources.
· Assists with receiving, inspection, distribution, and storage of parts.
· Assists mechanics and supervisors with emergency orders through Manufacturers’ Tech support, customer service, parts departments, drawings, and instruction manuals on the internet.
· Fills in for MRO and performs inventory cycle counts, as needed.
· Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted.
· Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
· Purchase approved Service, NLAG and Non-Stock parts in the required time line at the best prices following finance guidelines for procurement
· Obtain required bids for all parts and services
· Manage required PO’s and contracts for parts and services.
· Manage annual requirements (Bidding / PO’s / Contracts) for necessary emergency services
REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, emergency shifts, or rotating shifts, required.
· High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent, preferred.
· Experience with computers including SAP applications, CMMS, Microsoft, PDF.
· Previous experience in a purchasing environment required.
· Sound technical skills, logical ability, and strong problem analysis and resolutions skills.
· Ability to write standard information into related paperwork and present to management.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
· Ability to speak, write, and understand English.
