OnsiteThis position is directly responsible for supporting the corporation's goals through effective and efficient administration of customer sales orders, related information and processes from contract award through the close-out and archive of the sales orders. The customer service order administrator for Avionics MA&H (Military Aircraft and Helicopters) requires an experienced professional with a strong background in customer service. The role is to administer sales orders that help fulfill government contracts. The position requires excellent communication with contract managers, master schedulers, shipping personnel, program management, and quality assurance. The order administrator must effectively prioritize their workload and focus on accurate and efficient order entry and management. The work is moderately complex and detail-oriented, requiring knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and quality. Accuracy is essential to comply with government requirements. The position's goal is to ensure that customer orders are accurately and efficiently entered and managed in SAP.
This is a fully onsite position located in Cedar Rapids, IA.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Accurately and efficiently administer complex sales orders in SAP, including entering orders and modifications, creating deliveries, monitoring inventory, and generating invoices.
Monitor SAP shipping, inventory and billing reports and take appropriate action.
Prioritize and manage workload in a self-directed environment, making decisions that affect sales, profit, and on-time delivery performance.
Adhere to customer-specific and standardized requirements and procedures.
Submit accurate DD-250 paperwork for government inspections to the US government’s Wide Area Work Flow online portal.
Communicate with internal customers and teammates to maintain quality and on-time delivery.
Provide excellent customer service with timely and polite communication.
Manage and monitor reports, data, and project information in Microsoft Excel.
Maintain knowledge of contract and purchase order structures, customer requirements, invoicing and quality processes.
QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:
Typically requires HS Diploma or an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience OR in absence of HS Diploma or AA/AS degree, 8 years of relevant experience.
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.6
Experience utilizing computer systems in a professional environment is required.
Demonstrated experience providing service to internal or external customers is a must.
QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:
SAP experience is preferred.
