SoftwareOne is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to drive Azure pipeline creation, enable our Account Managers, and lead technical conversations that convert customer needs into real cloud opportunities. If you’re passionate about Azure, presales, and shaping customer cloud journeys, this role gives you the platform to make a big impact.
As the Azure TAM, you will act as a technical overlay to the sales organization, driving early-stage conversations and progressing deals to technical win. Key responsibilities include:
- Pipeline Creation & Qualification - Identify and convert Azure-led opportunities through customer meetings, workshops, partner motions, and installed-base insights.
- Qualify leads into CRM-ready opportunities with clear needs, scope, and next steps.
- Ensure timely, high-quality technical follow-ups to accelerate cycle time.
- Customer Discovery & Technical Vision - Run discovery sessions, understand customer environments and gaps, and document functional/non-functional requirements.
- Azure Architecture & Solution Design - Design Azure landing zones, network/identity/security baselines, governance, monitoring, and DevOps patterns aligned to CAF/WAF.
- Shape migration and modernization roadmaps, including approach, assumptions, risks, and effort drivers.
- Demos, PoCs & Technical Win - Lead demos, PoCs, and validation activities; handle objections; drive technical decision-making.
- Support clear handover to delivery teams for scope, intent, and assumptions.
