Job Summary:
Operates machines and production equipment safely in a manufacturing environment, adhering to quality and productivity requirements with direct guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):

Installation and Commissioning Engineer

Job Summary:
The Installation and Commissioning Engineer will oversee and inspect installation and commissioning activities for all projects executed within the Industrial Business Unit. This role is crucial for ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards while supporting the Installation and Commissioning Leader in completing necessary documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and confirm the availability of installation materials as per the Bill of Materials (BOM) in coordination with the Railway / OEM on-site.
- Ensure installation and commissioning activities are conducted according to the Installation & Commissioning checklist.
- Address Before in Service (BIS) quality issues that arise during installation and arrange for the necessary spare parts.
- Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning checks to ensure equipment functionality.
- Monitor safety practices and compliance during site entry and installation processes.
- Coordinate with customers for stage-wise completion of activities and facilitate interdependent support from other agencies.
- Secure completion certificates from customers to facilitate payment processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automobile Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 to 10 years in service, production, testing, or installation and commissioning of Diesel Generator control panels and HHP gensets, preferably with Cummins or another reputable brand. Experience troubleshooting complex electrical circuits, control panel wiring and design, and HHP genset installation and commissioning is essential. Previous experience with Cummins dealerships and HHP certification is highly preferred.
