Responsibilities:Main focus
- Account Receivable management - Invoicing, application of Sales Cash receipt & refund, Credit Memo processing, Monitoring outstanding AR, Supporting Credit Limit setting)
- Account Payable management – Trade payable through Ariba purchasing system, Employee T&E through Concur T&E spending system, Corporate credit card program, Direct debit, Bank counter payment
- Bank account management – reconciliation, GL postings and clearings, payment processing through online banking systems, banking contact
- Fixed Asset management – Asset related activities including FA registration, FA disposal, FA transfer, FA ledger maintenance and JGAAP FA reconciliation, Property tax returns and booking
- Management of intercompany activities, including balance reconciliation and reporting
- Account review and analysis on balance sheet and P&L account
- Consumption tax reconciliation
Additional Support activities
- Statutory book preparation (Create JPGAAP TB, Japan statutory FS) with PWC
- Year-end PWC audit
- Tax support – including Monthly WH Tax deduction and payments, Consumption tax journals and payment, Manage tax matters with PWC, Year-end tax return with PWC
- Monthly closing of financial records - Accrual, Prepaid, Reserve, FX revaluation, Warranty
- Finance and corporate related projects by representing Japan Finance
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience including international exposure
Business level of communication skill in Japanese, English
Team Player and good interpersonal skills and culturally sensitive
Ability to work well with internal and external parties
Critical thinking and able to provide solutions and recommendations
Self-motivated, result-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
Strong business-writing skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
SAP or other ERP experience is required
Flexible approach to changing environment
