Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division (IBD) provides industry, regional and product expertise to corporations, institutions and government clients in order to advise our clients on strategic and financing matters. These solutions include initial public offerings; public and private equity and equity-linked financings; mergers, acquisitions and restructurings; defense advisory assignments; strategic partnerships; public and private debt placements; share repurchases; hedging, swaps and derivative transactions.

About the Role

Join Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division as a React Developer helping build internal tools that support bankers in delivering strategic and financial advice to global clients. You’ll work on intuitive, high-impact web applications that streamline workflows, enhance reporting, and improve client engagement. While the focus is on frontend development, there’s room to collaborate with backend engineers and contribute across the stack if desired.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain modern React-based web applications and dashboards used by bankers globally.
• Design clean, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces that simplify complex workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Translate business requirements into intuitive UI components and visualizations.
• Contribute to strategic projects that improve productivity, reporting, and client deliverables.
• Engage with backend service (Python, APIs, databases) development if interested.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with React and frontend technologies.
• Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and UI/UX best practices.
• Experience working with REST APIs and integrating frontend with backend services.
• Interest or experience in backend development (Python) is a plus but not required.
• Comfortable working in English and collaborating with global teams.
• Interest in finance.
