We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Morgan Stanley Asia – Delta One Structured Products & Securities Lending Distribution (Associate / Vice President).

In the Prime Brokerage and Institutional Equity division, we provide our clients around the world with intellectual insights and innovative product solutions and services that help them generate alpha. The Delta One Structured Products & Securities Lending Distribution team provides coverage and access to Morgan Stanley’s equity finance product suite. We are looking for inquisitive, enterprising, and proactive individuals to join our growing distribution team. As part of the Asia Prime Brokerage franchise, this role offers unique exposure to global equities market, an extensive array of financing products, and the opportunity to interface with the world’s largest active fund managers and leading financing institutions.

What you’ll do in the role:

• Product mandate: Delta One Custom Baskets distribution and sales trading, financing solutions distribution including securities lending and equity swaps
• Client coverage: Equity Long Short Fundamental, Multi Managers & Event Driven hedge funds
• Functional scope: Delta One custom basket recommendation (thematics and hedging solutions) and execution, provide daily SBL locates and liquidity, synthetic equity and financing solutions
• Relationship management: Develop, monitor, and grow balances and wallet share to maximize franchise value
• Content creation: Originate and distribute tradable thematic ideas, hedging solutions, market colour, portfolio and risk analytics, pitch materials and relevant commentary

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Experience in equity sales or sales trading will be beneficial
• 2-6 years prior work experience in a financial institution
• Strong interest in financial markets with a proven ability to learn new products & markets
• Knowledge of Delta One custom baskets and swaps, Prime Brokerage, Securities Lending and financing products
• Prior knowledge and exposure to hedge funds; understanding of IT infrastructure supporting financing products
• Knowledge on best practices for both long & short market access across Asia Pacific
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced and high-pressure scenarios
• Strong interpersonal & relationship building skills
• Risk-aware with entrepreneurial approach to problem solving; strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese / Japanese / Korean and other languages will be advantageous
• Basic proficiency in mainstream programming languages, including but not limited to Python / C++ / Java / KDB
