Database Administrator - Asia and Emerging Markets

As a Database Administrator supporting Thomson Reuters' ANZ marketing and events programs, you'll own the health, structure, and usability of our delegate and event-contact data - ensuring it's accurate, secure, and ready for high-impact reporting, segmentation, and campaign execution. You'll work closely with event marketing and conference producers to turn data into actionable audience insights, improve targeting, and support growth through reliable dashboards, list management, and forecasting-ready datasets.

About the Role

  • Maintain and optimize the delegate/contact database in Eloqua, ensuring records are accurate, standardized, deduplicated, and compliant with internal processes.
  • Manage imports/exports and list hygiene processes to keep event and marketing audiences clean and campaign-ready.
  • Document database procedures and maintain clear audit trails for updates, list builds, and data corrections.
  • Generate and maintain data reporting for multiple business units, delivering accurate reporting on time.
  • Prepare management reporting for senior stakeholders, highlighting key trends, performance metrics, and recommended actions.
  • Create repeatable reporting views for event performance, campaign engagement, and audience growth (e.g., opens/clicks, registrations, attendance, conversion rates).
  • Research and source new potential delegate/event contacts across ANZ, aligned to event audience profiles (including custom lunches and sponsor events).
  • Review and refine event lists to ensure outreach is targeting the most relevant prospects and decision-makers.
  • Partner with event marketing and conference producers to develop new audience profiles and segmentation approaches for new and existing events.
  • Support ongoing nurture efforts so past delegates are aware of upcoming events relevant to their interests.
  • Help coordinate outreach workflows, including follow-up via phone/email for contacts interacting with event EDMs.
  • Assist with complimentary delegate invitations for sponsor lunches and events when required.

About You

  • Proven experience in database administration, marketing operations, reporting, or data management in a corporate environment.
  • Hands-on experience maintaining a marketing database - ideally in Oracle Eloqua (or similar platforms).
  • Strong analytical skills: you can interpret complex datasets and translate them into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Confidence producing polished reporting for stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating across marketing, events, and business teams.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
