We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Business Development Manager (BDM) / Field Sales Representative (FSR) to join the North Region (NR) sales team to help expand brand awareness and share gain across NR markets.
Key objectives and focus are on driving and delivering profitable growth, introducing new innovative products, developing overall business with new and existing customers whilst continuing to strengthen forging relations with local channels across the Nordic, UK and Irish territories.
Your key responsibilities will be as follows:
- Develop and implement winning business strategies across NR with the Sales Team.
- Lead and Opportunity Management: Establish, maintain and develop leads and new business opportunities in targeted market segments
- Work close with Business Development and Marketing Team to implement business development plans in dedicated market segments
- Monitor market developments and engage with the entire value chain
- Maintain and develop channel revenue
- Provide fundamental technical support to local partners (customers / converters)
- Promote Avery and Mactac branded solutions and services across NR territory
- Lead strategic joint business meetings and planning with prospective clients
- Prepare sales contracts, rebates schemes ensuring adherence to law established rules and regulations
- Attend and organise local conferences and Graphics industry events
- Research prospective accounts in focus
- Conduct in-depth market analysis
- Build long lasting relationships with new and existing customers (converters / distributors / end users )
- Distribution & converter training and management across NR
- Find and secure new potential projects and demonstrate value add-on (cold case calling)
- You will travel between 50 and 60% of your time
Qualifications

- You have a minimum 3 - 5 years related experience as BDM, FSR or similar customer facing role
- You are knowledgeable of Viscom markets with fundamental technical competencies
- You are fluent in English; an additional language is a plus
- you possess excellent analytical skills to steer account and business development plans
- You have the ability to work independently / self-motivated
- You have excellent communication and negotiation skills
- You have the ability to troubleshoot problems / issues and provide smart resolutions
- You have efficient time management and planning skills
- You have the ability to build rapport with internal and external customers
- You have the sales mentality, ability to engage with new prospects and win new business
- You have a valid driving licence
- BS/BA degree or equivalent
