Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Candidates will typically have 9 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (i.e. growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social).
- Typically 5 years of experience with people management.
- Experience in social marketing at leading brand companies.
- Experience in AI systems aimed at driving business or brand impact through social media, with emerging AI tools.
- Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience at global marketing brands that have complex organizations.
- Experience working with product teams, data scientists, and engineers.
- Knowledge of social and the application of AI to social and influencer marketing, demonstrated by public profile and/or publications.
- Ability to produce executive-friendly and public facing mass communication.
- Ability to perform well with high attention to detail and increasing levels of responsibility and independence.

From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. As the Head of Social and Brand AI Marketing, you will lead Google’s social brand strategy and shape the vision for how to tell Google's AI innovation story across all social, brand, and influencer marketing, leading to significant brand and business impact.
In addition, you will shape how our brand shows up daily on social, by strategically weaving the power of our products with cultural relevance, platform intelligence and AI innovation into a cohesive content strategy that builds on our brand equity with key audiences. You will scale your vision internationally, creating a blueprint for regions/products to follow. You will be known as the company’s social and brand AI marketing expert, building and driving the social and brand marketing strategy on AI across all brand-owned channels.
- Develop and manage the company's global AI social marketing strategy and produce blueprints for regional and local implementation.
- Redefine the voice and tone of Google on social, and clarify the value proposition for social platforms.
- Design the right operational flows to produce and publish content with internal creative, external agencies and influencers, leveraging the power of social trends and Google data.
- Lead the vision and execution of how AI is used internally to create industry-first new working methods, including planning and producing content and managing audiences on social.
- Lead a team of social experts tasked with creating and publishing proactive and reactive content. Drive implementation and messaging about AI innovation by leveraging AI knowledge. Work with other marketing departments to ensure AI is integrated into all social and brand marketing efforts.
