We’re seeking someone to join our team as an ICAAP Portfolio Risk Associate to work as part of the wider business analysis project team with a focus on back & middle office business change, risk and regulatory initiatives.

In the Firm Risk Management division, we advise businesses across the Firm on risk mitigation strategies, develop tools to analyze and monitor risks and lead key regulatory initiatives.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Manage the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment (ICAAP) Stress buffer production process for key EMEA Legal Entities, collecting and presenting combined Stress Loss and Stress RWA information

  • Analyze and interpret Stress Loss and Stress RWA information across Credit, Market and Operational Risk

  • Work with large datasets, perform reconciliations, validate data feeds to ensure consistency and reliability

  • Prepare documentation and presentations to effectively communicate key information to senior management and governance committees

  • Manage portfolio risk through the analysis of results of stress testing scenarios, using knowledge of markets and risk exposures to construct new scenarios and interpret results

  • Collaboration with other functions such as Risk Managers, Risk Reporting, Treasury and IT to ensure that scenarios are produced on a timely and accurate basis

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics
  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
  • Knowledge of financial markets and products, familiarity with macroeconomic events
  • Risk domain knowledge and familiarity with regulatory frameworks (Basel 2.5, Basel III, FRTB)
  • Confident knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Motivation to learn and improve
