This role is responsible for Sales Partnerships and Alliances for Data Apps and KYC operating units. The internal title for this position is Associate Director Sales Representative. Responsible for developing new partnerships and managing approximately 10 active partner relationships. These partnerships include technology partners, consulting, advisory partners, and agents who present new sales, growth opportunities and routes to market.
Supporting the strategic objectives and activities of the EMEA sales teams, the successful candidate will work alongside a global team of P&A Managers.
Responsibilities:
• Develop effective communication so that partners understand MA solutions, value proposition and market position.
• Gain a clear understanding of go-to-market best practices, to successfully implement effectively and consistently.
• Build a deep appreciation how MA partnerships globally currently help drive and support revenue targets.
• Implement the P&A strategy across the region and, at times, support wider territories, where regional partners have a global footprint.
• Manage and grow a given number of current partner accounts to optimize growth and sales in or outside the region.
• Identify and onboard new partners that compliment MA business segments and provide a worldclass service to our clients.
• Identify companies that are best of breed in their given market and communicate this effectively to the P&A team.
• Mitigate and manage partner risk (e.g., custody of Orbis and GRID data) by following established best practices.
• Assist marketing with partner use case messaging, to educate MA business lines.
• Position requires travel (approximately 10 – 20% of your time).
Qualifications & Attributes:
• Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., bachelor’s degree) required, with coursework in business, economics, finance, marketing, or related fields.
• A Moody’s employee at this level would typically have 7+ years’ experience working in direct business-to-business sales or partnership roles with a focus on serving financial services and/or corporate treasury customers.
• Solid understanding of different parts of the global financial services industry, including market dynamics and customers’ business drivers.
• Ability to present high-level information as well as detailed demonstrations of products & services.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex sales cycles to successful conclusion through use of consultative selling techniques.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to interact with senior executives both internally and externally.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail.
• A background or experience in selling to or partner managing supply chain use cases or clients would be advantageous.
