We are partnering with a well-established, international organization operating across multiple regions, with a strong presence in technology-driven services and solutions.

The company is continuing to evolve its finance structure to support operations across multiple countries in Latin America, offering an opportunity to contribute to a complex, multi-entity environment within a global business.

Role overview

The Head of Finance will act as a strategic partner to the business, providing financial insight, oversight, and operational leadership across a multi-country scope.

This role combines strategic advisory responsibilities with hands-on ownership of core finance activities, including accounting, reporting, and compliance. The position requires a leader who is comfortable operating both at a high level and within day-to-day financial operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with business leadership to support decision-making through financial analysis, planning, and performance tracking
  • Lead and develop the regional finance function, ensuring alignment with broader organizational standards
  • Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, financial reporting, and close processes
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and statutory reporting across multiple countries
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls and risk management practices
  • Oversee cash flow, credit management, and coordination with external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, advisors)
  • Drive improvements in financial processes, accuracy, and reporting quality
  • Manage finance operations across multiple geographies, ensuring consistency and efficiency
  • Lead and support a distributed team, balancing leadership with hands-on involvement where required

Requirements

  • Strong background in accounting and finance (CPA or equivalent preferred)
  • Experience in financial analysis, reporting, and business partnering
  • Solid understanding of local and international accounting standards
  • Experience managing finance operations across multiple countries or regions
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
  • Ability to operate both strategically and operationally in a dynamic environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Proven leadership experience managing distributed or regional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

  • CPA or equivalent certification
  • Experience working with shared services environments
  • Exposure to mid-market ERP systems
