As part of strategy to design and implement industry leading applications Morgan Stanley WMPT team is looking for a Senior Full Stack Web Development lead to join a technologically advanced team, focusing on innovation and building out the strategic Technology Platform. Candidate should collaborate with stakeholders including business and technology partners (local and global) across Wealth Management, infrastructure, and architecture teams.
We are looking for a strong full-stack hands-on Senior Technologist with extensive experience in designing, developing and supporting applications using latest technologies and tools (Angular, Java spring boot, .Net , SQL Server etc). You will work closely with the global team to help build next generation applications/platforms supporting critical front office functions. You should be results oriented, comfortable working as part of an Agile team, and thrive on participating in the development of systems that are of high quality.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Minimum BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
7-10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing and supporting enterprise applications end-to-end.
Skill Set: Primary skills Angular, Java Spring boot, SQL Server (or any other RDBMS)
In-depth understanding and extensive experience in designing and developing complex web applications, using the modern web application development technologies and frameworks.
Strong hands-on experience in developing large scale complex software solutions using Java Spring boot and related technologies and frameworks.
Experience in Angular and libraries like NgRx highly desired.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
Good understanding of DB concepts and experience working on SQL Server (or other RDBMS).
Experience in leading a team of developers to accomplish development and delivery of complex large-scale enterprise applications in agile environment.
Ability to coach and mentor junior team members.
Excellent communications, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exposure to and good understanding of Finance/Banking domain highly desired.
Skills Desired:
Experience of building application with public Cloud (Azure or AWS)
Knowledge of Financial market, banking products and Wealth Management
Ability to develop proof of concepts/prototypes in the new areas of development

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $166,000 and $244,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
