Executive Director, Strategic Client Management

Morgan Stanley's Strategic Client Management (SCM) plays a pivotal role in driving Morgan Stanley’s Integrated Firm Strategy, a key strategic priority for the Firm. The team focuses on identifying opportunities to leverage relationships across Wealth Management (MSWM), Institutional Securities (ISG), and Investment Management (MSIM) to enhance client outcomes while driving revenue and asset growth.
The role emphasizes accountability, innovation, and leveraging Morgan Stanley’s global resources to deliver tailored solutions for clients. This position is ideal for professionals seeking to bridge Wealth Management and institutional divisions while driving measurable business outcomes through cross-functional teamwork.

What you'll bring to the role
- Serve as the primary Integrated Firm liaison between Financial Advisors, Investment Bankers, and other key business stakeholders to drive collaboration opportunities and showcase the Firm’s Wealth Management and Institutional capabilities to both individual and corporate clients.
- Represent the needs of the Firm’s clients internally, ensuring the full Firm is accessible to serve client needs.
- Lead and support cross-functional projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, client engagement, and business outcomes.
- Oversee various pipelines, group metrics and cross-divisional revenue and asset databases
- Manage and cultivate talent across junior team.
What you’ll bring to the role
- 8+ years’ experience in financial services with a deep understanding of Wealth Management, Investment Banking and/or Sales & Trading.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining long-term, trust-based relationships with key internal stakeholders and clients.
- Superior sales, negotiating, interpersonal and client service skills with exceptional ability to identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
- Dynamic public speaking and effective presentation skills.
- High level of attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented, with high level of administrative and interpersonal professionalism
- Series 7 and 63 required

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $225,000.00 and $275,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
