Overview

The Marketing & Events Intern will support Product Managers and the Events team in coordinating marketing activities and events. This role offers hands-on experience in event execution, marketing operations, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Coordinate logistics and materials for events such as congresses, workshops, and internal meetings

• Support delegate management including registrations, communication, and on-site readiness

• Assist with travel, accommodation, and shipment of event materials

• Generate Purchase Orders (POs) and track invoices and supplier payments

• Support budget tracking and ensure timely and accurate financial documentation

• Ensure all event and marketing documentation meets compliance, legal, and company requirements

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit readiness

• Assist in developing and managing marketing materials and ensuring brand consistency

• Support Product Managers with campaign execution and material coordination

• Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers including agencies and print vendors

• Provide general administrative and operational support to the Marketing and Events teams

• Strong organization and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Proactive and willing to learn

Requirements:

• Graduate with a degree or diploma in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• Preferably South Africa Citizen

Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
