Overview
The Marketing & Events Intern will support Product Managers and the Events team in coordinating marketing activities and events. This role offers hands-on experience in event execution, marketing operations, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate logistics and materials for events such as congresses, workshops, and internal meetings
Support delegate management including registrations, communication, and on-site readiness
Assist with travel, accommodation, and shipment of event materials
Generate Purchase Orders (POs) and track invoices and supplier payments
Support budget tracking and ensure timely and accurate financial documentation
Ensure all event and marketing documentation meets compliance, legal, and company requirements
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit readiness
Assist in developing and managing marketing materials and ensuring brand consistency
Support Product Managers with campaign execution and material coordination
Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers including agencies and print vendors
Provide general administrative and operational support to the Marketing and Events teams
Strong organization and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Good communication and teamwork skills
Proactive and willing to learn
Requirements:
Graduate with a degree or diploma in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Preferably South Africa Citizen
Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
