AbbVie Scandinavia is seeking an experienced Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to serve as a pivotal bridge between brand teams and Commercial BTS teams at the affiliate, cluster, and regional levels. In this influential role, you will empower brand teams to maximize value from digital marketing and data analysis, drive technology implementations, and foster innovation across the organization.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality advice to Brand Teams, Customer Excellence, and local stakeholders on technology-driven digital activities.
  • Identify opportunities in the local business landscape for technology solutions that support business strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with Area/Cluster/Region BTS management, Geo BTS Capability teams, and Corporate BTS services.
  • Understand emerging global and area digital strategies and guide their local integration and transition planning.
  • Lead and support project teams implementing Global and Area technology systems within Scandinavia.
  • Define, initiate, and oversee delivery of technology projects at affiliate and regional level.
  • Work with teams to prioritize initiatives based on business impact and effort.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory and legal frameworks for all technology projects.
  • Advise on business-savvy decisions regarding risk, costs, success measures, and ROI.
  • Maximize platform and solution impact by briefing teams and collecting user feedback.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and manage change effectively.
  • Advise external partners and customers on technology use in their organizations.
  • Promote the value and benefits of Commercial BTS internally and externally.
  • Monitor the external technical environment to identify market opportunities.
  • Share successful solutions across BTS, affiliates, and brand teams.
  • Ensure effective, constructive, and contractually secure relationships with external parties.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of significant experience in IT Consultancy or Digital Solutions.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.
  • Proven expertise in analyzing, designing, and improving business processes.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements and the system life cycle.
  • Experience delivering digital strategies with analytic components.

Knowledge / Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent (preferably with a business-related specialization).
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all levels of management.
  • Strong independent decision-making, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Capacity to influence within a matrix organization and lead without direct authority.
  • Successful management of full lifecycle technology projects.
  • Experience managing external service providers.
  • Proven ability to work in a shared service environment.
  • Knowledge of the technology & digital landscape: mobile, UX, web design/build, marketing, SEO, SEM, web analytics, social media.
  • Familiarity with Sales and CRM data management and data management policies/procedures.
