Summary: The Territory Marketing Director serves as a strategic marketing partner for designated territories and regions. This role works directly with Territory Vice Presidents (TVPs) to align regional/local marketing plans, activations, and partnerships to drive revenue and patient engagement. This role is critical in ensuring the adherence to organization brand guidelines across all assets and channels, local use of centralized systems and processes, and that local marketing needs are identified and met in programmatic support with Constituent Experience (CE) and Marketing teams.
The Territory Marketing Director reports to the Vice President, Constituent Marketing & Insights to address marketing needs within the Territories ensuring alignment with brand identity and organizational strategies, in direct partnership with Territory Vice President(s).
While employees may be permitted to work remotely, travel to the assigned office, HUB or Satellite Offices may be required as determined by the employee’s manager and the employee’s People Organization Generalist.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish and build productive relationships with the Territory Vice Presidents (TVPs) and designated Region teams, including Revenue Enablement. Assess regional needs for marketing assets and experiences to drive revenue and use of mission services.
- Serve as the point of contact for all marketing related topics and opportunities for respective territories/regions. Collaborate with the Revenue Territory Partners (ex: Territory Campaign Development Directors, etc) evaluation criteria for marketing requests.
- Provide branding leadership and stewardship, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines are understood and adhered to consistently. Educate on the brand as needed and raise business case and objectives to create new materials as needs evolve.
- Ideate how to streamline and simplify assets needed to achieve goals to increase brand cohesion and reduce expenses, present best ideas to the CE Team and Territory Leadership.
- Collaborate with TVPs on criteria for incremental, unplanned marketing support and assets requests.
- Collaborate with creative engagement teams (i.e., email, social media, etc) to align on regional channels, especially social media, and how they integrate with overall messaging to reinforce a consistent brand presence.
- Collaborate with Campaign VPs, TVPs and EDs to manage assets, sunsetting old materials and prioritizing new assets. Work closely with other Territory Marketing Directors to ensure asset alignment across the regions
- Share regional updates, needs, challenges and opportunities to brainstorm effective solutions with the CE team. Collaborate with other Territory Marketing Directors to ensure consistent brand and marketing messaging across all territories.
- Develop/steward the development of Creative Briefs for and oversee development of regional creative assets (e.g., templates for press, social posts, etc.). Collaborate with Creative director, design and content team, and Social to ensure that all assets reflect the brand identity and are on strategy. Steward creative reviews with TVPs. Ensure timely project completion.
- Develop an owned channel matrix that clearly conveys scheduled support for the regions
- Attend and participate in select territory revenue calls (e.g., Territory Huddles). Collaborate with TVPs and TCDDs on suite of assets for local level sponsorships, creating consistency across all regions
- Review and assess the region’s 3rd party proposals, including in-kind marketing opportunities.
- Collaborate with Constituent Marketing team to identify innovation that effectively reaches and engages local/regional constituents in new and different ways, ensuring that regional needs are integrated into overall programmatic assets (e.g., Dare To Dream, Light The Night, etc.)
- Develop and provide detailed, tactical plans for Social Media.
- Communicate updates to regional teams on additions to brand portal for approved market use
- Work with Executive Leadership on specific enterprise-wide projects and act as liaison with broader team for communication, as needed
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10-15 years professional marketing experience stewarding branding and partnering with cross-functional teams goaled with raising revenue and driving use of services
- Local marketing experience required, local sponsorships experience a plus

- Demonstrated ability to lead marketing staff and cross-functional partners in processes that result in long-term, high value, mutually beneficial relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills when sharing plans, concepts, professional opinions, ideas, pitches to team, stakeholders, partners, and vendors/consultants.
- Imbue a collaborative spirit that balances a firm stance on brand.
- Ability to prioritize and make independent decisions, with fast follow through on commitments and deadlines.
- Flexibility in a fast-paced production environment
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Work environment is representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations
- Travel within designated Territory required up to 30% to attend events and marketing activation activities.
- Required to work some evenings or weekends.

We are excited to share the base pay range for this position is $101,430 to $119,069. The offered compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at LLS we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the current compensation of similarly situated roles and direct team members. Base compensation is only one component of our Total Rewards program, which also includes an annual incentive plan and a competitive benefits package.
