Want to play a role in forging a path for newly acquired Autodesk technology? The Process Modeling and Execution team is seeking a skilled and creative problem solver who is self-motivated and able to quickly learn new technology and concepts and apply them to projects they will be working on. As we connect our Factory solutions and FlexSim Discrete Event Simulation, we are bringing benefits to our customers that lead the way in how they plan, build, and operate their facilities. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team responsible for supporting, training, and delivering consulting services to customers and partners using FlexSim.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with technology that provides insights throughout the lifecycle and operation of facilities, empowering our customers to make informed decisions quickly and execute on them with maximum impact.
Responsibilities
Learn and gain experience in using Autodesk’s newly acquired FlexSim software product.
Support worldwide efforts to enable FlexSim users and Autodesk Partners in the software
Work closely with our group of technical consultants, developers, and product manager
Digital Factory Modeling: Develop a comprehensive digital model of a typical manufacturing facility, including machinery, personnel, and workflow
Simulation and Analysis: Run simulations to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for potential improvements in the manufacturing process
Optimization: Propose and implement changes based on simulation results to increase efficiency and productivity
Knowledge Transfer: Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to the team. Make model, reports and presentation available to the broader user base
Minimum Qualifications
You must be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s program ideally in
Operational Research, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering.
You must either be in your penultimate or final year of studies and will be graduating 2025 or 2026

Fluent in English, including technical language
Excellent communicator with ability to convey complex messages in an easy-to-understand form, written & verbal
Preferred Qualifications
Ideally experience in, but at least a good understanding of, discrete event simulation, process improvement, and digital factory
Fusion or 3D CAD design experience
Knowledge of manufacturing industry and system design terminology and tactics
Basic knowledge of C++ or other object-oriented programming language
Basic knowledge of SQL queries and syntax
About the US Intern Program
The 2025 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 19 – August 8 or June 16 – September 5). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. Our internships align with Autodesk’s Flexible Workplace approach, which is designed to meet the needs of our business while providing flexibility in support of office, remote and hybrid work preferences.

Salary Transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience, educational level, and geographic location, and can exceed this range.
For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting annualized intern base salary to be between:
- $47,840 and $95,680 (undergraduate students)
- $72,800 and $118,500 (Masters/MBA students)
- $118,560 and $162,240 (PhD students)
