- Bachelor's degree in environmental sustainability or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in a matrixed organization with multiple organizations and stakeholders each with differing demands and priorities.
- Experience in real estate, sustainability, project management, food, transportation or energy management.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA, Master’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in the real estate industry (e.g. building design, project/construction management, or operations)
- 2 years of experience in carbon reduction initiative quantification.
- Experience with carbon accounting, including Greenhouse Gas Protocol, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Excellent business acumen, collaborative, organized, and oriented towards execution.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to update the annual roadmap and strategy for Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) across Google buildings, food and transportation. This includes developing and maintaining materials that support the centralized Google strategy.
- Serve as the central subject matter expert for carbon environmental reporting across REWS. Collaborate with internal and external experts to refine accounting methodologies and leverage data for strategic insights.
- Foster partnerships with stakeholders across the organization, gather input, facilitate discussions, and ensure alignment on the strategy and implementation plans.
- Contribute to the development and support the implementation of annual accounting and forecasting methodologies for environmental metrics.
- Analyze environmental metrics data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, informing strategic decision-making, program optimization, and future Core Reliability Impact Score (CRIs).
