General Information
The Instrument Operator is responsible for working from drawings and specifications sheets to perform assembly work on all types of transformers. This includes, but is not limited to, winding, coring, insulating, assembling, stud, welding, packaging and tasks associated with the realization of these processes. Instrument Operators should have general knowledge of clearance and insulation requirements for various voltage classifications.

Winding VT and CT coils; Inner Bushing assembly; and other associated tasks
Core assembly
Insulating
Assembly
Transformer and component packaging
Stud Welding

Your Background:
High school diploma or equivalent plus at least two (2) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.

Able to read a tape measure.
Working understanding of math
Safety minded and quality conscious.
Able to work with tools for equipment set-up and operation.
