Position Overview
The Partner Sales Manager for Government business will manage assigned Govt Channel Partners for AUTODESK. You will manage the relationship and all the points of contact to ensure these Govt Channel Partners have a full understanding of AUTODESK strategies and solutions, and to drive sales of Autodesk products and services to ensure that sales goals are exceeded. You will also develop long standing relationships with these identified Govt Channel Partners and to build a joint go-to-market model covering all the standard areas of Govt Channel Partner Management.
You will also also execute partner strategy for Govt business including identify, recruit & transact with new Govt partners
Responsibilities
- You will report to Channel Sales Director and primary responsibility for this role is to increase Public Sector sales through managed Channel Partners and to ensure government business sales targets are being exceeded.
- Promote communication between Channel Partner and Autodesk, you should establish working relationships internally with all the required partner function, e.g., Sales, TS, Renewal, Marketing, Service and Operational team, etc
- Lead setting Channel Partner strategy, account/territory plan, Go-To-Market plan, resource/invest plan and forecasting revenue, and able to manage Channel Partner's opportunity, understanding, monitoring, and reacting to where Channel Partner is against year-to-date revenue, reporting on any trends, and responsible of business updates through regular Quarterly Business Reviews at senior levels.
- Lead important relationships with members of Channel Partner, and ensure appropriate executive mappings are in place, and spend majority of their time with Channel Partners to become an important part of their team and business, to accomplish aligned plans and to gather and prioritize issues affecting success!
- Capable to express AUTODESK strategy and lead certification programs to support AUTODESK Strategic growth. This includes providing Autodesk products, solutions, and services trainings, and driving Channel Partner capabilities through certification.
Minimum Qualifications
- 15+ years of channel management including large partner account management experience in an IT vendor environment. Domain knowledge of government partner ecosystem is an added bonus
- Experience selling technology solutions to Channel Partners
- Ability to bring together required ecosystem to participate in large ready-to-use Govt bids
- The ability to describe market transitions and develop and influence local and virtual teams.
- Your work will involve participation in a blended or hybrid work setting.
- Your role will involve occasional business trips.
