The primary role of the Payroll Director is to oversee the processing of LLS payroll for 1,000+ employees using Ceridian Dayforce across nearly all US states as well as running Canadian payroll in ADP. This includes reviewing and monitoring the payroll team during the bi-weekly payroll process to make sure they are properly and completely calculating all aspects of payroll including garnishments, disability/leave, extra monies, annual merit increases/incentives, etc. In addition, the payroll director is responsible for following all legislative changes for all states and local jurisdictions LLS has employees in.

While employees may be permitted to work remotely, travel to the assigned office, HUB or Satellite Offices may be required as determined by the employee’s manager and the employee’s People Generalist.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and review payroll processing by Ceridian Dayforce across multiple states and ADP in Canada.
- Provide direct supervision of payroll team.
- Design short-term and long-term strategies to achieve continuous improvement and efficiencies in payroll processing.
- Create Quarterly legislative updates related to payroll and payroll taxation for senior Finance and Human Resources executives.
- Collaborate with HR to assure accurate data, streamline processes, identify integration opportunities, and provide effective communications.
- Work closely with finance, operations and HR leaders to collaborate on determining the impact of entering and exiting offices in new localities.
- Manage special projects for improving, adjusting or correcting interfaces and configurations inside of Ceridian Dayforce.
- Manage both internal and external audits for payroll related areas as well as support Finance in any other financial audits.

Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 10 + years of Payroll experience with Ceridian Dayforce and ADP.
