As an R&D & Type test supervisor you will either be part of an installation team, or you will lead the installation yourself. If you are the installation supervisor, you are responsible for taking care of everything from planning, to ensure that you have correct drawings and material to follow the time schedule and make sure that you and your team is well coordinated with whatever task you have in front of you. We are the step before the products are handed over to production or to pass the tests before it is handed over to our Customer.

Your responsibilities
- Participate in planning phase and start up meetings for the specific projects.
- Ensure all drawings/material needed for the assembly are available with the latest revision and is correctly manufactured together with the responsible engineer.
- To supervise and instruct the appointed sub-contractor to ensure that the assembly is performed according to Hitachi instructions and demands of quality.
- To make sure correct personal protective equipment (PPE) is used and the HSE plan is followed accordingly.
- To make a time plan for the installation and continuously report the progress to the project manager and others involved
- Report issues in QIT and support with the short- and long-term solution as well as perform & support during the assembly in the different test circuits.
Your background
- As a person you have an interest in technology and a self-drive to continuously learn and develop yourself.
- You are experienced and comfortable handling risk assessments.
- If you have industry-related work experience, this is considered meriting.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written is mandatory in this position.
- You are flexible in your way of work and have the willingness to take the initiative.
- To succeed in this position, it is considered meriting if you have experience and knowledge of the MS Office package.
