The advancement of women in the workplace depends on every woman rising โ€” regardless of background, ethnicity or ability. But women of color earn less than our non-minority counterparts. And women of color in particular often gamble their personal safety and careers to come forward when theyโ€™re on the receiving end of racist and sexist behavior at work. So how can we be better allies for one another in our shared cause of true gender equality? As a Filipina-American, a daughter of immigrants, and an immigrant myself based in Spain, I'm on a mission to facilitate inclusive conversations where DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) advocates and allies benefit. In this chat, I want you to walk away with:

  • Why women/womxn are poised to lead the DEI conversation in companies
  • Awareness of the systemic issues that affect women of color & the importance of allyship
  • Easy micro-actions to be an inclusive, intersectional ally for other women at work
