Inclusion@Work’s 2023 Black Americans Report revealed that significant numbers of Black workers believe that race can hinder their career goals, though few outside their community agree. Not surprisingly, the report found that an alarmingly high percentage of Black workers have considered lawsuits related to treatment based on identity and background.

Additionally, Black workers voiced feeling underrepresented in DEI leadership – and frustrated with the results of DEI. So the question is: are company leaders willing to adapt?

Richard Lui, news anchor, bestselling author, & DEI researcher, will join us to deconstruct the report and provide actionable steps to optimize the benefits of DEI and minimize the drawbacks.

During this chat, you’ll learn:

  • Why you should throw out your old DEI playbook on Black workers
  • Strategies to improve your inclusion of Black workers by up to 50%
  • How to invest in community-based organizations (CBOs) to engage Black workers
  • Ways to embrace differences to find sameness

And so much more. We guarantee an enlightening discussion — real metrics included — with plenty of room for Q&A.
