Cheri is a Sales Development Leader. She has over 20 years of experience in leading sales, sales dev, and admin teams across advertising, secondary mortgage investment, and tech. With 2.5 years at GitHub, she oversees Inbound Sales. Outside work, Cheri enjoys quality time with her family, camping, kayaking, and hitting the golf course.

Gurinder Taunque
Manager, Sales Development

Gurinder is a leader in the Sales Dev Org at GitHub and has been with the company for about 2 years. Prior to GitHub, Gurinder has over a decade of technology sales experience ranging from starting his career as a Sales Development Representative up through various sales roles selling and now leading sales teams. In his spare time, Gurinder enjoys spending time with his family outdoors and working on and racing cars.

I'm based in Seattle with my Fiance, Dusan and our dog, Bowie. I'm currently in my seventh year of sales with a broad range of experiences in positions and company maturity. The through line of every experience has been growing each organization. When I'm not at work, I'm hiking, biking, or zooming with Bowie.

I was raised in Walnut Creek, California, and pursued my education at UC Berkeley, majoring in American History and Economics. Concurrently, I held a role as a Sales Development Representative at a Series A startup, balancing it with the completion of my thesis. Within a year in the field, I progressed to a management position. Presently, I serve as the Sales Development Manager for Mid-Market at GitHub. Beyond my professional life, I find joy in hobbies such as golf, skiing, and cooking.

Chris Wheeler has over 16 years of technology experience, with the last six dedicated to GitHub. With prior experience in enterprise sales, Chief of Staff and Sales Strategy, Chris has focused his career on building world-class revenue organizations. Within Sales Development, Chris is responsible for hiring, developing, and mentoring the sales talent of tomorrow for GitHub.
