Meet The Speakers

Mariko Sola
Mariko Sola
Vice President, Global Sourcing

Mariko’s primary goal in life is to always “Leave it better than you found it”, no matter what “it” is. She brings 17+ years of professional experience to her role as Vice President of the Global Sourcing Center of Excellence at Visa Inc., working to deliver the value of Visa’s sourcing organization to financial institutions, cardholders, and merchants in 200 countries and territories. Her team primarily focuses on people, process, and tools for the global organization, and within that sits responsibility for Supplier Diversity and Responsible Sourcing-two topics that allow her to focus on helping uplift local economies and prioritize doing the right thing for everyone, everywhere.

She also has the privilege to serve as Global Co-Chair for Visa’s Pride Employee Resource Group, which spans more than 30 sites with 1700 members, with the mission to advance a positive, inclusive workplace for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and ally (LGBTQ+) individuals at Visa and deepen partnerships with key clients and stakeholders to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ individuals globally. Additionally, she is an executive in Visa’s Stand Together program, a CEO driven initiative with public commitments toward inclusion, diversity and racial justice focusing on the Black and African American community.

Mariko is passionate about elevating others to be seen as leaders and is most proud when these individuals excel in their careers and lives.

Evelyn Loran
Evelyn Loran
VP, Network Processing & Standards, Platform Services

Evelyn Loran is the Vice President of Network Products Visa’s Platform Services team. Evelyn leads a team of Product Managers who deliver Network processing enhancements to Visa clients globally and manages efficiency processes that help streamline product delivery.Previously she was part of the Platform Products team which launched Apple, Samsung, & Google Pay at Visa. Prior to Visa, Evelyn worked for Bank of America Merchant Services (BAMS) Acquirer.Evelyn has been with Visa for 13 years and has over 20 years of experience in the payments industry. She is also an executive sponsor for Visa’s Back Employee Resource Group -ViBE Bay Area.

Leanna Kuo
Leanna Kuo
VP, Global Revenue Operations

Leanna has been at Visa for almost 20 years in various Controllership roles including leading SEC Reporting, Corporate Accounting, Client Incentive Operations, NA Controllership and most recently Global Revenue Operations. Prior to Visa, she spent six years at KPMG LLP in both Assurance and Tax. She is a graduate of UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.

Elizabeth Lin

Vice President and Associate General Counsel

Elizabeth (Liz) Lin is Vice President and Associate General Counsel on the Legal deals team for North America. In this role, Liz provides legal support on U.S. agreements with Visa issuers and co-brand partners. Prior to this role, Liz served in a number of other roles on the Visa Legal team, including advising and collaborating with various product teams such as Visa Direct and Global Merchant Sales and Solutions. Prior to Visa, Liz was an attorney at Gunderson Dettmer, LLP working closely with start-up companies and venture capital firms focusing on the strategic needs of high growth companies and venture capital and growth equity funds.
