Leading Newsrooms Through A Pandemic - What Will It Take To Cover The Hardest Hit Communities

Join newsroom leaders who have been through past downturns (September 11th, the 2008 financial crisis) to hear how they’re managing teams out of the pandemic. This discussion with Goli Sheikholeslami, the President & CEO of New York Public Radio, and Melissa Bell, the Publisher of Vox will be moderated by Marcus Brauchli who both women worked with at The Washington Post when Marcus was the Editor in Chief there from 2008 through 2012. During this discussion, Marcus will dive into how Goli and Melissa have retained diverse teams to cover the crisis, as newsroom budgets have been hit hard due to shrinking ad revenues.
