Combating Covid-Related Racism Toward Asian-American Communities

Join Congresswoman Judy Chu, who represents California's 27th District in the U.S. House of Representatives, as she discusses being on the front lines of combating racism toward the Asian Americans during the COVID crisis. Rep Chu is the Chair of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus. She has spoken out regularly throughout the crisis about protecting people within her community and beyond. Rep Chu will be joined by Leezel Tanglao, a veteran journalist who currently runs Membership & Innovation at HuffPost.

She represents the 27th Congressional District, which includes Pasadena and the west San Gabriel Valley of southern California.Rep. Chu currently serves on the powerful House Ways and Means Committee, which has jurisdiction over legislation pertaining to taxes, revenues, Social Security, and Medicare.
