Shannon Morales is a proud Afro Latina, mother of 3, and first-generation graduate. She started working in diversity recruiting after experiencing unconscious bias in the workplace and set out to find equitable employers. In 2020, she pivoted the business model to be a community-driven talent marketplace dedicated to advancing marginalized groups in tech and startups. She now has a 2400 active member slack channel and over 3000 newsletter subscribers. Her latest accomplishments include being a Founder in Residence at Bubble, awarded “Culture Builder of the Year” by Technically Media, and winner of the LTX Fest pitch competition.
