Function Description
Automation CoE in Controllership is playing a key role in creating state of the art automation solutions. We have a strategic seat at the table and our unique insights are valued in a highly competitive marketplace and increasingly complex finance environment. This team integrates human thinking with machine efficiency to deliver process excellence. The team works to understand processes, automate repeatable, rule based manual intensive tasks, create analytics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness by various tool integrations and processes reengineering.
Purpose of the Role:
We are looking for an ETL developer who must draw on knowledge and experience from a variety of areas, who can perform ETL development in the confluence of database design and programming, and yet have a highly flexible skill set in both fields. An ideal candidate must have an eye for data that is expanding quickly everywhere.
Roles & Responsibilities: -
- Work with key stakeholders to elicit requirements and map it to their data Storage, analytics & visualization requirements. Ability to draft and elaborate on data storage requirements.
- Creates and improves data solutions that allow for smooth data delivery, and takes charge of gathering, processing, maintaining, and analyzing huge amounts of data.
- Leads the design of the logical data model, implementation of the physical database structure, as well as the construction and implementation of operational data stores.
- Design, automate and support sophisticated applications for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Ensures the accuracy of data.
- Provides support to existing automation solutions through quick fixes, redesigns.
- Modify SQL/Alteryx based on dashboard requirements in Tableau and design and develop data sources and dashboards in Tableau.
- Utilize strong analytical capabilities to analyze data, understand reporting requirements, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and derive actionable insights and trends.
- Demonstrate excellent oral communication skills and writing skills, essential for effective collaboration and documentation within the team.
Experience:
3-8 years working as developer in any ETL technologies such as Alteryx, Datawatch, Informatica etc. Experience on visualization platforms like Tableau would be plus.
Academic Background:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other equivalent work experience
Technical Skills/Capabilities:
- Experience with ETL technologies such as Alteryx, Datawatch, Informatica
- Familiarity with PL/SQL Server development
- Knowledge of dimensional modeling
- Experience on Tableau/Power BI or other reporting solutions.
- Experience in or more programming language-Java/Pythion.
- Organizational abilities that include time management and planning.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Experience to handle data structures.
- Ability to learn new data tools and ideas.
- Knowledge of Finance would be a plus.
