The Role: Software Development Engineer in Test II
The Team:
The team works in the SAFe agile environment and adheres to all principles of Agile. As Senior SDET, you will work with a team of intelligent, ambitious and results-oriented software professionals. The team is independent in driving all decisions and is responsible for the design and quick turnaround of development of our products with the highest quality.
The Impact:
In the Senior SDET role, you will make a significant contribution in building solutions to test across data platforms, API, web and services platforms using efficient data comparison methods. Your challenge will be to reduce “time to market” for products without compromising quality whereby leveraging automation/performance testing as well as innovation. You will use a wide range of technologies and have the opportunity to interact with different internal teams.

Responsibilities:
· Design and develop automation solutions that meet organization standards for APIs/services, database, and web.
· Expertise in testing large scale, distributed cloud based systems in a continuous integration environment.
· Experience quality assuring solutions targeting Amazon Web Services (AWS)
· Build reliable, reusable and maintainable automated regression suites & test harnesses
· Design and develop test cases based on acceptance criteria, execute test cases, analyze and communicate test results to the team/manager
· Perform in-sprint automated to fulfill the Definition of Done
· Participate actively in functional, system and regression testing activities
· Work in the agile environment, attend and contribute to all scrum ceremonies (daily scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives)
· Present work during sprint reviews to wider IT, Product, and Business audience
· Ensure best practices are followed and testing activities stay on schedule
· Work with team members in other geographic locations
What we’re looking for:
· Bachelor's/PG degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
· 3-5 years of experience in software testing or development with good understanding of testing, coding and debugging procedure
· Experience in programming using Java & other languages e.g. Python, C#
· Experience in algorithm based or data testing
· Experience in design and development of automated tests using automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Appium) across the application layers (UI/Service/Data layers)
· Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest-Assured (preferred), Ready API and Soap UI
· Experience with source control tools such as GIT, TFS, SVN
· Exposure with cloud technologies (AWS)
· Experience with CI Engines (Jenkins, Hudson, Cruise Control) including distributed build system management and understanding of the pipeline system
· Proficient in Agile, QA methodologies, defect management system, and documentation.
· Strong communication skills and ability to deliver clear, concise documentation and presentations
