ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Product Designer to join a digital media and technology company that reaches millions of people globally. You will be joining the team to work on innovative experiences for our client website and app.
The product design team is made of multidisciplinary designers who are individually responsible for all aspects of design: user research, UX design, visual design, prototyping, and engineering handoff. Each member is a huge contributor to the projects they lead. We value a strong aesthetic point of view, a desire to experiment with new trends and technologies, a willingness to push the boundaries of product, and a good sense of humor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute all aspects of design in a cross-functional team, including user research, UX design, visual design, graphic design, prototyping, and engineering handoff.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to define product requirements and create innovative solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
- Actively seek feedback from peers, stakeholders, business team, and users and be open to iterating on designs based on constructive feedback.
- Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- 3+ years of experience in Product Design, with a focus on visual design in an Agile environment.
- Portfolio showcasing strong visual design skills and case studies of product design work.
- Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar, for both UX and visual design.
- Experience designing for web (mobile and desktop) and applications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Managers and gather requirements to align design solutions with product goals.
- Flexible and self-driven, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Nice to have media industry background.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English.
