About the Role
As Morgan Stanley Tokyo Financial Institutions Group (FIG) has been expanding its capabilities and client universe, we are currently searching for an Analyst Assistant to provide support in the key tasks and operations within the team, working closely with the bankers.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with investment bankers in FIG team who covers Insurance / Bank / Non-bank / FinTech companies
- Assisting in arrangement of logistics for IR Road Shows / Business Trips
- Assisting in creating or updating pitch books based on industry/company research in FIG space. Typical contents of such materials include, but not limited to: (a) financial summary / business overview / investment portfolio of a certain company, (b) deep-dive research on market share and positioning, (c) share price analysis, (d) comparable analysis, (e) analysis of precedent M&A transactions
- Assisting in reviewing relevant documents including press release and prospectus
Qualifications, Skills & Requirements
- Native level in Japanese, and business level of English
- Basic PC skillset (including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word) is required
- Basic numerical and analytical skills
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance preferred
- Basic understanding and/or experience at financial institutions (e.g., Insurance, Bank, Leasing, Consumer Finance, FinTech, etc) is a plus.
