DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Support breakdown maintenance of all General Purpose Machines (GPMs) and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) independently.
- Ensure the line Uptime/Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)/Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) as per the target.
- Plan and maintain critical spares and support their procurement on time.
- Publish KPI performance as monthly MIS.
- Ensure safe working and maintain a safe work environment.
- Carry out improvements on various organizational objectives at PQCDSM.
- Lead critical projects as per on-demand conditions, within stipulated time.
- Coordinate with suppliers on-time to complete service-related activities.
- Perform electrical repairs and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Demonstrate a high level of competency in core work skills.
- Perform and document preventive, emergency, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
- Conform to applicable codes and standards to maintain, install, and operate electrical systems.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks.
- Identify and reduce manufacturing constraints.
- Schedule maintenance activities around production requirements.
- Solve problems and improve processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Communicate effectively with the assigned team and all support teams.
- Complete training and personal development in line with business requirements.
- Participate actively with local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.

- Factory Automation and Control Systems : Implements changes to further automate manufacturing processes using available technology, programming techniques, and identifying needed material and resources for project completion to provide the optimum automation for the manufacturing environment.
- Machine Programming : Creates factory floor machine programs by designing and implementing solutions to improve usage of machine and overall operation.
- Manufacturing Knowledge : Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function’s needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Skills and Experience:
- Handling of General Purpose and Special Purpose Machines breakdown maintenance/Preventive maintenance.
- Analysis of daily logs and root cause analysis of breakdowns.
- Carry out Job Safety Assessment like LOTO and other safe work practices.
- Basic spare parts planning and inventory management.
- Strong fundamentals in basic PLC Programming, Contactor/Relay logic.
- Hands-on experience with SIEMENS TIA Portal, Rexroth Drive systems, and Festo Drive Systems.
- Basic electrical and electronics troubleshooting.
- Strong fundamental knowledge to read electrical and other machine drawings.
- Knowledge of PLC networking.
- Knowledge of robots and robotics programming.
- Knowledge of various problem-solving techniques.
- Computer proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of Siemens, Rexroth, and Festo Drive systems.
- Knowledge of safety practices like LOTO and basic electrical safety.
- Analytical approach and electronics troubleshooting are added advantages.
- Multitasking along with follow-up with vendors to get the work done on priority.
- Strong team player to handle contractors and other co-workers.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Preference for robotic exposure.
