Meet The Speakers

Jennifer Garrett
Jennifer Garrett
GVP, Enterprise Marketing

Jennifer Garrett is group vice president of marketing for Spectrum Enterprise, a part of Charter Communications, which provides enterprise-grade internet, networking, voice, video and managed services to the company’s largest business customers. In this role, she is responsible for the overall marketing strategy, brand, public relations and strategic communications, go to market strategies for various segments (including mid-market, strategic, verticals, federal and wholesale), lead generation, programs, content, communications and marketing operations across all of Spectrum Enterprise.

Prior to her current role in Spectrum Enterprise, Ms. Garrett led a team in marketing/creative strategy for Charter Communications, focused on direct response programs, mobile and retail marketing as well as customer communications for the company’s residential business. She was responsible for developing, implementing, and leading residential and business customer retention strategies, including overseeing Charter’s eight call center locations across the United States. Ms. Garrett led a team of over 3500 professionals who worked collectively to improve churn performance across the company-- creating and supporting tools, offers, processes and programs in order to drive improvements.

Claire Avery
Claire Avery
VP, Marketing & Creative Strategy

Claire Avery serves as Vice President of Marketing and Creative Strategy at Charter Communications. Based in the Stamford, CT headquarters she leads the creative strategy and execution of mass media and digital advertising campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, sales, revenue and retention.
Claire joined Charter in 2007 and has held several roles throughout the corporate marketing organization during her tenure including positions within Brand, Direct Response and Retail groups. Today she oversees the Brand, Product, Competitive, Digital Marketing and Creative Studio teams. Prior to Charter, Claire worked on the Creative Marketing team at America Online in Dulles, VA.
Claire holds a Bachelors of Arts in Business Management from Sweet Briar College. Outside of her day job, Claire is passionate about growing and developing women at Charter and co-leads the Spectrum Women Business Resource Group, helping to engage, connect and empower over four-thousand members.

David Andreski
David Andreski
SVP, Marketing Analytics

David Andreski is Senior Vice President of Marketing Analytics. David leads the corporate teams responsible for Pricing and Packaging, Subscriber and Revenue Forecasting, Marketing Science, Performance Analytics and Competitive Intelligence across both residential and small business services. He also has a regional team of Market Intelligence leaders that focus on local performance and competitive actions. Since 2006, David has worked for both Charter and Time Warner Cable with roles in Regional Marketing and Sales and Integrated Marketing.

The majority of David’s career has been in the Cable and Telecommunications Industry where after college he worked for ATT in New Jersey that evolved into supporting an international joint venture in Stockholm that supporting Multi National Businesses. He later joined Priority Telecom a fiber based business services provider in Amsterdam where he served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

David graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with dual degrees in Business and Electrical Engineering and received his Master of Science in Telecommunications Management from Steven’s Institute of Technology.

Malini Vyas
Malini Vyas
Director, Business Intelligence

Malini Vyas is a results-oriented, tech and industry-agnostic, hands-on servant-leader with a passion for driving digital transformation at the intersection of business and technology. As a visual and kinesthetic learner, she constantly explores new tools and technologies, designing sustainable and easy-to-maintain data management solutions.

Currently the Director of Business Intelligence at Spectrum, Malini has held various leadership roles in her career, including Senior Enterprise Architect and Senior Technical Program Manager at GE, and Director of IT at Fulcrum Analytics. With a strong focus on untangling data webs and decluttering process workflows, Malini has consistently delivered efficiency, quality, and innovation across various industries.

In addition to her technical and leadership accomplishments, Malini is a dedicated advocate for diversity and inclusion. She has led various D&I initiatives as she champions programs that support underrepresented groups in the tech industry.

Malini's commitment to fostering an inclusive environment and empowering others showcases her passion for making a lasting impact in her profession and the broader community.”

Malini holds a Master's Degree in Computer Applications from Gujarat University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. Her expertise in data management, digital transformation, and strategic vision make her a sought-after leader in her field.

Lee Schumer
Lee Schumer
VP, Employment Law

Lee S. Schumer is a Vice President and Assistant General Counsel, Employment Law at Charter Communications. With more than three decades of experience, Ms. Schumer has worked with clients to develop comprehensive strategies for handling workplace issues. In her role on Charter’s Employment Law Team, Ms. Schumer’s responsibilities include overseeing employment litigation, providing employment counsel to the Company’s executives and senior human resources business partners on internal investigations, recruiting, compensation, discipline and separations, leaves of absences, discrimination, harassment, workplace privacy, and delivering training on emerging areas of employment law.

Prior to joining Charter, Ms. Schumer was in-house labor and employment counsel for a media and entertainment company. Ms. Schumer was also employed as an associate focusing on labor and employment law at Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, Nixon Peabody LLP and Roberts & Finger.

Ms. Schumer is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations and St. John’s University School of Law, where she served as Articles and Notes Editor of the St. John’s Law Review.
